“Ads are the cave paintings of the 20th century”, pretty interesting to me and it really makes sense since they both do the same thing, they Show to the masses what a single man desires to be shown. Long ago in a time far, far away man painted on walls what they remembered about their past events primarily a successful hunt for food. Now people put on advertisements by the medium of billboards and TV commercials their things or events that they are successful of, like a new kind of healthy food, new transportation or new technology. These are things that man wants to show another, it could be for pride or it could be for assisting other people showing them that they can help you do this kind of thing. Both Share the same though and that is most probably why they are placed in a quote together even though the time between them is worlds apart. Millions of years ago, why I think, the cave men made cave paintings is because they wanted to show people what they can and did do and to also remember their past glories. Although ads aren’t made to remember things, ads are used to show off achievements of people and successful attempts on making something that would benefit our world. It seems that our world is filled with pride and greed, we’ll never know the facades that hide under what every it is they show to the public. Some people say that if a corporation is successful they make advertisements to make it even more productive. That is just what people say though they would want to make more money out of it and like some rich people they only have it for themselves. With that said Ads could have supported pride and greed but we cannot say that advertisements are evil because not everyone is thinking of malicious things, there are good people but there will always be bas people without one of them there will be no balance and our world will be thrown in to chaos. In the end it all comes down to one think, what people think makes the world go round, money.
